The project 'Transport and dispensing of medicines at home through autonomous drones' of the Pharmacy of Lajeosa, in Lajeosa do Dão, won the 2018 João Cordeiro Prize - Innovation in Pharmacy in the Pharmacy Recognition category.
The "rapid test for the detection of Streptococcus pyogenes by pharyngeal exudate", from the Coelho Pharmacy, in Braga, deserved an honorable mention. The president of the jury, Diogo de Lucena, described the project as "a great impact on public health" that could be replicated in other pharmacies.
In the category of "Social Communication", the jury also awarded an honorable mention to the piece "DOP Azúcar", by Anabela Saint-Maurice, for the quality and interest of the subject in the field of health.
