Paulo Jorge Cleto Duarte is pharmaceutical, entrepreneur and co-owner of Estacio Pharmacy and Estacio Xabregas Pharmacy, both in Lisbon.
He is President of the Nacional Association Board of Pharmacies, since 2013.
Since may 2017, he is a member of the National Health Council – Government advisory.
He has been President of the Board of the European Pharmacist Forum (EPF), sponsored by Walgreens Boots Alliance, since December 2017.
He began his professional career in Pharmaceutical Industry at Johnson & Johnson.
He was Technical Secretary of the Portugal’s National Commission Against AIDS, where he collaborated with Professor Maria Odette Santos Ferreira.
He was General Secretary of the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society, General Secretary of the National Association of Pharmacies and General Secretary of the Association of Pharmacists of Portuguese Speaking Countries (AFPLP).
In 1997, Paulo Cleto took a degree in Pharmaceutical Pharmacy at Faculty of Pharmacy of Lisbon. He holds an MBA in Information Management from Faculty of Economics Science of Catholic University of Portugal (2004).
